Fault Characteristics

Cause of Failure

Fault Identification and Troubleshooting Methods

Motor not turning

1. Power outage

1. Check the power supply

2. Improper handling of the fan causing the fan blades to jam

2. Repair the fan duct

Low ventilation volume

Power connected in reverse

Check motor wiring

Reduced airflow

1. Reduced speed

1. Check the power voltage

2. Air inlet blockage

2. Clear the air inlet

3. Air duct leakage

3. Repair or replace the air duct

Reduced air pressure

1. The density of the transported gas is too high

1. Observe and adjust the transported gas

2. Impeller deformation or damage

2. Replace the damaged impeller

Vibration

1. Unstable, sunken or deformed foundation

1. Repair and reinforce the foundation

2. Main shaft bending or deformation

2. Replace the main shaft

3. Rotor imbalance

3. Dynamic balance the rotor or replace it

4. Pipeline vibration

4. Secure the pipeline or adjust the piping

High bearing temperature

1. Bearing damage

1. Replace the bearing

2. Incorrect selection of lubricating grease

2. Re-select and replace the appropriate oil

3. Rotor vibration

3. Balance the rotor

High noise

1. Fan impeller wear

1. Replace the fan impeller

2. Air inlet damage

2. Repair the air inlet

Low motor insulation resistance

1. Damp coil

1. Dry the coil

2. Insulation damage or aging

2. Replace the coil
